The registered office of the MAPAI is located at Directorate of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Boriavi, Anand 387310, Gujarat, India. The aim and objects The aim and object for which the Society is established is to promote general interests and interaction among researchers working on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in different institutions and organizations within the country and abroad and extend its usefulness for the public advantage and to provide a forum for the exchange and dissemination of research information and experiences related to Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. Membership fees shall be a Life Membership fee for MAPAI is Rs. 1000/- or USD $50 in case of Foreign members.

For this MAPAI is publishing an Open Access Peer Reviewed Scientific Journal OAJMAP (ISSN 0974-7877). The first issue will be published in July 2009. It is requested that all the researchers working on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants to extend support for the journal by submitting their manuscripts. It is also requested that the Research Cooperative Group members will take this message to all their friends for development of the journal.

Authors who are non-MAPAI members will be advised to donate INR 500 or USD 25 after acceptance of paper for publication in OAJMAP.
