I'm a Senior Scientist at the SETI Institute where, with NASA and NSF funding, I work on the characterization of planetary ice and development of instruments for in situ characterization. I have field experience in the Arctic and Antarctica, and lab experience with most materials characterization techniques. I enjoy teaching (writing).
