INASP works with partners (countries and networks) to support global research communication through innovation, networking and capacity strengthening. Focus is on the needs of developing and emerging countries.

African Journals Online is an example of a networking project supported by INASP. Another is the publishing organisation Bioline International , a not-for-profit scholarly publishing cooperative committed to providing open access to quality research journals published in developing countries.

INASP also collaborates with publishers in the developing and emerging countries, through training, online and print resource guides, and informal advice.

Through INASP and Bioline International, new and established publishers can find a large amount of useful information, and can hope for various kinds of practical support.
