A sponsored promotion campaign
Medlist.co.uk is an online mailing list company that specialises in mailing lists for audiences. Typically these are used by medical and other companies for highly targeted advertising. In order to keep recipients and advertisers happy, Medlist has a real opt out system and carries out regular quality control for the lists that it maintains.
Initially, the paid for this service, with positive results.
Eventually, Medlist found it useful to send the message advertising our network as a test for the lists that it maintains, and offered to occasionally sponsor promotional mailing campaigns for our network.
The most recent campaign began in August 2017 and will continue for several weeks. Each of the large peaks shown below (four, at right) shows the positive response of looking at our site to consider whether or not to join.
