How do I join and how is my membership approved?

  • Joining and approval for new members

A basic or 'regular' membership of our network will always be free. There is a "Create account" tab in the main menu. Or you can go to the  account form here .

Currently you can choose or request one or other of the following membership categories:

    • Standard regular member (free, and best option for most people). This is automatically selected for all new members

The following options are also available, by special request to Admin (see contact details below)

    • Advanced regular member (free, with added features)
    • Network volunteer (Research Cooperative supporter)
    • Shopfront
    • Publisher

After your account is validated, please fill out details for your public profile page (only three fields are 'required' - location, name, and work interests).

For any enquries, please contact the network creator (and chief administrator):

Dr Peter Matthews,  email: researchcooperative at gmail dot com.

    Thanks

  • The network Admin can create a new user account manually

This is not how we usually create new accounts, but it can be done, using the URL

researchcooperative.org/user/create  (can only be used by Admin).

This can be useful for troubleshooting with system experts at Jamroom.net, or others.

If you need help to get started, please ask.

The Admin will need your email address, and a username to go with it.
