Biographical: My working languages are English, Portuguese and Spanish. I am interested in researching creative solutions to reduce excessive anthropogenic pressures over nature and resources. In the last years, I developed both deep skills in plant ecology and plant physiology and broad skills in forestry and biodiversity conservation. Currently I am developing a post-doc in plant ecology, modelling multi-species dynamics. My PhD focused on studying plant germination and growth in the context of improving the success of ecological restoration actions. Before that, I worked for almost three years in applied research for pest control in forest stands by studying the role of plant diversity in the relative abundance of insect populations. I am passionate about sharing knowledge, developing guidance skills and interchanging motivational perspectives.
