Paweł Churski Habilitation Earth Sciences in Economic Geography, specialisms: Socio-Economic Geography, Spatial Management, Regional Growth, Regional Policy, PhD Earth Sciences in Economic Geography, specialisms: Socio-Economic Geography, Spatial Management, Regional Growth, Regional Policy, is an economic geographer working at the Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, in the 2008-2010 and 2012-2016 position of Deputy Director, since 2009 Head of Regional Analysis Methods Department, since 2016 Director of Institute. His research interests include: the problems of local and regional development in Poland, factors of development and regional policy in Poland and in the European Union, the application of econometrics and geographic information systems for spatial analysis, the level and standard of living, the state and changes in the labor market in the period of socio-economic transformation in Poland and Europe. He is an expert in evaluation of development processes, local and regional development policy, labor market and level and standard of living. He is innovator and manager of higher education, including a member of the international accreditation committee and acting as Vice-Dean, Representative of the Rector, Vice-Rector and Chancellor, author of new educational programs and innovative methods of organization of the educational process.
