Promoting online academic events (webinars, lectures, courses, etc.)
Alongside the platforms for hosting online meetings, new services have emerged to help schedule and promote online events wherever they are hosted.
Some of the services are commercial, with no specific focus, others are academic, and some are social networks in their own right.
In short, the possibilities are numerous and daunting. I'd like to explore what is out there, and add links to some useful examples here. Please add your own recommendations as a reply on this thread.
