Work: My primary research interests include basic theory of wavelets, wavelet packets and application of wavelets in financial time series.
Biographical: I have authored/co-authored over twenty six research papers in peer reviewed national and international journals. Besides that I have also coauthored a text book on wavelets. Currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, University of Kashmir, South Campus, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir has been teaching postgraduate classes for the last five years.
