Work: Engineering bioprocesses: kinetics of fermentation, fermentation and aromatic characterization of Saccharomyces and non-Saccharomyces yeasts. Bioethanol production, organic acids production (lactic, propionic, acetic acids) and unicellular protein production from agroindustrial waste. Batch and continuous cultivation Escalation. Mathematical modeling of bioprocesses. Biochemical and metabolic studies in yeast and bacteria.
Biographical: Dulce Maria Díaz Montaño has her Ph.D from INPT, France. She is Senior Researcher Level B from Industrial Biotechnology department of CIATEJ. She has publisher 19 papers in reputed journal and chapters of international books in relation to tequila process. She has submitted several patents in improvements in tequila process and she has been invited to reviewer on international journals. She teaches graduate level courses as well as training courses for the employees of tequila industry. Currently she has directed numerous graduate theses. Several awards to state and national level she had received in Science Technology and Innovation in Mexico.
