Thanks for invitation, which I follow. Our Institute of Environmental and Water Studies (IEWS) of Birzeit University pomotes women knowledge sharing with more than 50% of total MSc students are women. BZU as such has specialized departments and MSc programs exclusively created to enhance the women role in all aspects of life.

To this extent, the focus of the CISSE research group is Collective Intelligence and Semantic Systems Engineering. In this context, CISSE addresses key challenges and research questions, which investigate forms of collective intelligence and its implications within the contexts of software engineering, system engineering and semantic technology. The ultimate target and vision is the engineering of prototypical semantic systems for experimentation and proof of ideas and concepts, which are capable of harnessing complexity, scalability and maintainability in semantic systems engineering.
