Work: I teach astronomy, physics, human biology, human health and disease and neurobiology. My major research interest is in the biology of aging. I'm interested in almost everything (which is why I teach such a diverse cirriculum).
Biographical: I teach for the University of Maryland, University college, online. I occassionally teach microbiology at local colleges. My French is pretty decent - I speak several other languages, but not well enough for any but trivial purposes.
Favourite Publications: I love Nature, Science, PLOS (I read just about all the flavors of PLOS), Cell, Scientific American, American Scientist (I was a member of Sigma Xi).
