Work: The International Science Club of Osaka (ISCO) was established in 1963 as a sister organization of Osaka Science and Technology Center (OSTEC). Membership of ISCO is obtained by invitation or application, and a small annual fee is requested to support our activities. The club now has about 800 members (mostly located in Kansai, Japan), and promotes personal exchange between the academic and business worlds, in many fields related to science, technology and society. The club organises lectures, seminars, study tours and other activities (suggestions are welcome). We also meet to enjoy golf and the board game igo (also known as go). People who would like to join and help build our network are welcome to apply and join. We also welcome contributions about your research or research-related business activities for our monthly magazine, at any time. Please feel free to contact us. Messages (see link at left) can be addressed to "ISCO Secretary".
