There is currently huge interest in online teaching systems (globally), which is going to add to the range of teaching materials that need to be imagined and produced, and thus to new needs for editing, translation, and so on. I am hoping that the Research Cooperative can be useful in these areas too.
My son here in Japan is interested in a new kind of juku where students use teaching videos as well as meeting teachers and other students. If the videos and other interactions are good, maybe this kind of class will be better than the traditional juku where rote-learning was emphasized.
