Work: I am a graduate in English to French translation, and have been a translator for all my career, translating materials related to commerce, logistics, IT, and law. At present I work as a consultant for IT and organization. Previously I worked for 25 years in various areas of industry as a logistics and systems expert, and as a project manager: three years in capital equipment, 12 years in the textile industry, and 10 years in computer high tech. I also have a personal and professional research interest in sociology, especially in relation to music and other arts. I am a freelance opera choir member. I am presently writing and working on a book in the field of biographical data mass-processing. This research describes a system supposed to : - Help scientific research by a tool able to process billions of digitalized biographical data pages. - Initiate a project and design a tool helping scientists to build a model of the propagation of the musical knowledge between 17th and 19th century. - Try to design a genealogical tree of composers throughout 3 centuries - Challenge some pre-judgements or prejudices ? and relativize contributions of each country in Europe and restore the importance of the impact of dynasty of English composers to the evolution of this knowledge. - Bring a contribution to uncover a musical continent is being lost, thousands of great composers and of masterpieces are still to be discovered. Internet is their seccond chance. There is no known limit to the possibilities.... when it comes to the English version , I will need the help of the community, but if course I am willing to anticipate this brain drain by offering my help

I would be happy to bring my contribution based on exchange of services and ideas.I specialize in French proofreading as highly learned in French literature and linguistics.
