Work: I am a medical doctor trained and dedicated to drug discovery and development. My main topic areas of interest and experience are neglected tropical diseases, where I have worked in areas such as leishmaniasis, malaria, Chagas disease and dengue fever as well as other infectious diseases such as influenza. I also have experience in rheumatology (Lupus), animal parasitology (leishmaniasis, fasciolosis), biotechnology, ICH-GCP, general topics in clinical research, vaccines, international public health, epidemiology and evidence-based medicine.
