Biographical: Previous multinational research director and award-winning immunopharmacologist, experienced in discovery and preclinical development of novel synthetic, natural and protein compounds acting on the immune system. I have an expansive background in strategic planning, team building/leadership and process development. Network builder across international language and business barriers. Experienced author and editor, with an extensive list of published monographs and original scientific articles, mainly on inflammation, immunopharmacology and ethics. Managing editor of an international peer-reviewed journal, two scientific monograph series and a textbook. University professor, writer of assessment reports, brochures and strategic reviews. My native language is English, I speak and read fluent German and somewhat rusty Dutch. I also read French.
