Biographical: Prof. Mousa S. Mohsen currently, is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Hashemite University; he obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from Wayne State University, Michigan, USA in 1991, and MS and BS degrees from State University of New York at Buffalo, NY, USA in 1982 and 1983, respectively. His research interests are energy systems, renewable energy, water treatment and desalination, environment and decision making. In his research, Prof. Mohsen focuses on both the theoretical aspects and the practical issues of the problems and he is interested in participating in interdisciplinary projects. His published work exceeds fifty journal papers, and he was an invited speaker in different international conferences and workshops. Prof. Mohsen was involved in curriculum development for a number of undergraduate and graduate programs. Prof. Mohsen held many administrative acadmic postions; Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, Vice Dean of Engineering, Chairman of Mechanical Engineering Department. Prof. Mohsen is involved in different international funded projects.
