Work mainly focused on coastal ocean color remote sensing from a variety of platforms, including ship-borne, airborne, and satellite sensors. Major topics include Colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) and coastal and inland water quality. 2004 – 2009, Underwater image acquisition and processing in natural waters under blue/green laser illumination. Some super-resolution reconstruction algorithms of underwater images are discussed for the first time. 2002 – 2004, Courses taught for undergraduate students: (1) Digital/Analog Communication Theory; (2) Digital Signal Processing; (3) Signals and Systems and so on.
