I am senior researcher III at the Institute of Biological Research, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I graduated the PhD in 2000 with the title "Faunistics and Ecology of Dytiscoidea and Gyrinoidea in Transylvania (Romania)". I am working in taxonomy, faunistics, ecology and bionomy of Coleoptera, as well as in biodiversity conservation.
