Welcome to the Research Cooperative. Our network has been designed primarily to help people get their research results published, after a project has been started or completed. Nevertheless, it can be a good idea to make general plans for writing and publishing at the same time as a research project is started. In the case of a research review, the entire project might be based on literature review, and in that case, our network might be quite a good place to find people who are interested in reviewing a research field and writing about that.

We do have a number of focus groups for research communication in particular subject areas. Please look around in those groups to see if there are people you would like to correspond with. The Ning Profile Search tab, in our drop down menu for Search (see top of the page, above) is also a good place to look for people with work interests similar to your own.

New Co-op members do not appear in the search results immediately after joining, as it takes time for our host to monitor the network and build an index to give us our search results. Many of our new members from Ghana are not yet showing up in the search results, but eventually you will be able to find them too.
