Biographical: David is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Offshore Development) at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia, where he was previously Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law, leading the Faculty’s effort to develop responsible, market ready professionals with a global outlook, and offer career-driven professional study in a personalised teaching environment. With more than 10,000 students from all over the world and an extensive network of international partnerships, the Faculty of Business and Law is one of the largest business schools in Australia. In a working life spanning four decades, David has worked as a nurse and nurse educator, as a senior executive in local and state government, and, from 1990, as a business and management academic at universities locally and internationally. Before joining Victoria University, David worked at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, the Sydney Graduate School of Management (where he was Director and CEO) and, more recently, at the Nottingham Business School in the UK.
