Biographical: He attended graduate school at the National Chemical Laboratory, India and the University of Mainz, Germany. He received Ph.D degree from the University of Pune, India in 1996. He worked as a senior scientist for several years at the National Chemical Laboratory before joining the University of Tennessee as research associate professor in 2007. His research interest is focused on synthesis and characterization of well-defined linear and branched polymers through living anionic polymerization and controlled radical polymerization methods and surface modification of carbon nanotubes through covalent and non-covalent functionalization using polymers and small molecules
