Work: I am mainly interested in wildlife conservation and my research work is focused on the population dynamics of large herbivores, particularly in African ecosystems. As my research studies concern wild equids, I have been a member of the IUCN Equid Specialist Group since 2007. During the past 7 years, I have studied the demographic characteristics of plains zebra populations in relation with large predators. My research also concerns other equid species, with some work on the demography of feral horses in France. I have also developed some interests on horse feeding behaviour, on reproduction and on the social dynamics of plains zebras.
