Work: Computational Chemistry, DFT, nanotechnology, nanotubes, graphene.
Biographical: My research is focused on the design of new hybrid nanomaterials carbon nanotubes, graphene, nanoribbons, nanoparticles and related nano-architectures within the framework of Quantum Chemistry and Conceptual Density Functional Theory, in collaboration with experimental groups. Using Computational chemistry methods I perform electronic structure calculations of these different nanomaterials in order to understand and predict their properties towards future applications.
