Thanks very much for joining. You might like to ask people in our ethnobotany focus group for stories about durian.
A few years ago I travelled to Mindanao, in the southern Philippines. At the edge of Davao city a line of huts with tables offered durian to passing afficionados. It seems the idea was to provide a free space for enjoying them outside the home or hotel.
