Biographical: Dr. Mohammad Taleai is a faculty member and vice-dean for research in the faculty of Geodesy & Geomatics at the K.N.Toosi University of Technology. He received his PhD degree in Geomatics in 2007 with a research entitled: GIS-Based Planning Support System for Urban Land Use Externalities Evaluation. He received a full scholarship for his PhD from Iranian ministry of science, research and technology. He was a scientific visitor at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente. He also received a post-doctorate scholarship funded by Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window Program (Action 2) from European Union. Since 2000, he has been a member of Geo-spatial Information Technology (GIT) research team and worked on several GIS projects in various fields.
