OK - I will try to find out if there is a trail that can be followed. It might lead to the Toraja. Thanks, Peter
Hi Nenny,I have been in the Philippines for fieldwork.Several years ago, our museum in Osaka received a research visitor from Sulawesi who was writing his lifework as a book - an ethnographic project - after studying in France for many years and then returning to his homeland as head of an institute of some sort. But then he died suddenly of natural causes in Osaka, his computer was shipped back to Suluwesi, and I never heard what happened to his book. It was all terribly sad. If his work survives, someone with local knowledge and editorial skills might be able to retrieve something from all his efforts. If you are interested in this I can enquire.Sincerely, Peter
Dear Nenny,Are you a freelance researcher, writer, editor, translator, or.... all of the above?Best regards, Peter
