Biographical: Nikolaos Kavvadias received the B.Sc. degree in physics and M.Sc. in electronic physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece in 1999 and 2002, respectively. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. on custom processor design methodologies from the same department. From 2008 to 2012 he was a lecturer at the Dept. of Computer Science and Technology of the University of Peloponnese. He works as a scientific researcher and is the cofounding CTO of Ajax Compilers. His research interests include high-level synthesis of algorithms to hardware, application-specific/embedded processors, HDLs, and compilers. He is a Member of the ACM and the IEEE.
