Work: I teach and do research in the nexus between positive psychology and developmental psychology. Much of my current research concerns happiness, savoring (amplifying positive events), and well-being. Further, I have written a book and a stand-alone statistical program to compute statistical mediation and moderation (M&M). The book will be published by Guilford Press in late 2011, and M&M will be offered on the internet late in 2010 or early 2011. I am also available to do workshops on statistical mediation and moderation; structural equation modeling, and hierarchical linear modeling.
Biographical: It is best to write me at my e-mail address if you want a quick response: paul.jose@vuw.ac.nz. I graduated with a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Yale University in 1980, and have since written over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles. I have taught Research Methods & Statistics; Developmental Psychology; Social Psychology; Introductory Psychology; Multivariate Statistics; Research Methods in Developmental Psychology; and many other courses.
