Dear Rivonala,Have you heard about the Sealinks project that has been started in the UK? This is looking at early social connections between Southeast Asia, South Asia, Madagascar and East Africa via the Indian Ocean. The project was only formally started within the last month, and the initial project website is here: http://www.homepages.ucl.ac.uk/~tcrndfu/sealinks/sealink1.htm My own role in this is as a collaborator for the study of crop plant movements (taro in particular).
