Biographical: Yunus Ziya Arslan received the B.S. degree in 2002, the M.S. degree in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in 2009 all from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Istanbul University, Istanbul, Turkey. He spent six months at the University of Calgary as a Visitor Researcher. He serves currently as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Istanbul University. His research areas include biomechanics of the musculoskeletal systems and modeling and control of robotic manipulators.
