The main goal of this site is to encourage new connections between researchers and professionals. For instance, many academics outside the West don't have access to the kind of help they need to get their research published. Personal connections are key to getting this done, particularly for those who don't have a lot of resources. Sometimes mutual aid can be better than money.
You can search the Research Cooperative website for people with similar research interests to yourself and start a conversation with them, as well as searching by language and location. For instance, there are currently 20 members in the Iran group.
