I am currently working as an Agricultural Researcher at the College of Micronesia, which is precariously teetering on the brink of losing its accreditation because of corruption. I chose not to work at the PNG University of Technology as it is in one of the most dangerous cities in the world, Lae. Sexual assault is rampant and the university is in the malaria and Dengue Fever zone.....Jared Diamond gave me some very sound advice as he has made numerous trips to the region. I would be glad to work in the uplands of PNG out of the malaria zone.Thank you for your message.Dr. Amy EisenbergCollege of MicronesiaAgricultural ResearchPohnpei
