Greeting members arriving at the conference support pages
In this note, I will record responses I have made to members arriving at the confence support pages (i.e. at the IPPA 2009 top page, at a session page, and at a session archive).
1. To the convenor who has entered the session page and session archive created for his or her session:
Dear (Convenor's name),
Thanks for moving into your session page and session archive. I have given you administrative access for both areas.
When you sign in and visit those pages again, you will see the controls available for moderation, invitations, banning people, and so on, on the right hand side of each page.
Regards, (Administrator's name)
2. To the convenor who has entered the session page but not yet the session archive (after Co-op administrator has promoted the convenor to Group administrator in the 'Manage group members' menu):
Dear (Convenor's name),
You now have administrative control for your session page. After joining the session archive, I can give you control there too. Look for the "Admin options" panels.
Thanks, (Administrator's name)
