Languages reported in member profiles
This list was completed on 22nd September 2008, and is based on the profile data provided by our first 100 members. The list was prepared as support for a review note entitled 'Our first 100 members - a number to celebrate'.
It is notable that many members give only English as their preferred language for correspondence, and do not add their own native language. Others do not indicate any preferred language for correspondence and do not indicate any working languages, which means we can probably assume the work and correspond with English. This latter instance is not included in the present list of 'languages reported'.
Our system operates with Unicode, which allows many non-English scripts to be presented. Please feel free to list any language you are familiar with as a language for correspondence, or as a working language.
At present, 19 languages are represented. The three languages most commonly represented are English, Spanish, and Japanese, and 11 languages are represented by only one member of the Research Cooperative.
