Seeking ideas for how to use "AI" systems to help activate the Research Cooperative network
As Admin of the Research Cooperative, I am hoping that we can somehow use the new and evolving AI systems to make our network more intuitive and useful for members.
Although AI tools may partly replace the need for first-draft editors and translators, it will always require human eyes and thinking (by real authors and real editors and translators alike) to check the results produced by (mechanical) AI systems.
A perfectly written text that does not represent the actual work and thinking of the author might look good, but could have many basic flaws.
The need for human editing will become greater, not less, with the application of AI tools, and new kinds of editing may be needed.
So I am really asking two questions:
- how can we use AI tools here as part of the Research Cooperative platform, and
- how can members use AI tools in their own work?

ps If I receive no member comments, I might ask an AI system to comment on behalf of absent members.
