Editage* is currently looking for an expert who has extensive experience working with academic journals to help the organization build a knowledge base for journal publication.

Duration: 3-6 months, full-time or part-time (contractual)
Location: Telecommute and/or Mumbai


Job Description
Sharing journal publication knowledge and experience with the organization
Training key members in the organization on the journal publication process
Creating a knowledge database about the publication requirements of journals from a wide range of fields
Proposing service and process improvements to publication support services
Proposing quality processes and standards that will help us improve the quality of our services

Qualifications
Ph.D. in any science field
Minimum 5 years experience working full-time for a scientific academic journal and in screening and evaluating manuscripts for publication in a journal
Ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge and ideas with others
Candidates with peer reviewing experience and/or those who have served on the editorial board of a journal preferred
Those with prior training experience will be given preference
