As stated on the Association website, theIndian Association of Medical Journal Editors (IAMJE) aims to promote cooperation among editors of Indian medical journals.'

Who can join? The following statement is made:
'Membershipof the IAMJEis open to those who are currently editors or members of editorial boards of peer-reviewed medical journals. A person will cease to be a member of the IAMJE if s/he has not been an editor or a member of the editorial board of such a journal for a period of five years.
Associate Membershipof the IAMJEis open to all those who are interested or involved in the field of medical editing.'
