SCIENCE ARENA - a science journalism platform for Brazil and the world!
A crosspost from PCST list (Research Co-op Admin.)
Hi PCST community,
I want to introduce you to a recently launched science journalism platform called SCIENCE ARENA. [https://www.sciencearena.org/en/].
Science Arena is a science communication hub designed to connect researchers and to provide centralized access to scientific content, stimulating reflections on the paths being taken by science in Brazil and around the world, with a focus on medicine and health sciences.
The initiative, conceived by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (from São Paulo, Brazil), offers open-access content in both Portuguese and English. The material includes essays and analyses by researchers from Brazilian and international institutions, as well as reports by journalists who specialize in scientific coverage.
Science Arena also plans to hold events and webinars in the future. By the way, we are open to establishing partnerships around topics such as scientific communication.
I am the coordinator of this initiative and also the editor-in-chief. Talking to my colleagues here on the PCST network will be a pleasure. I am available at bruno.pierro@einstein.br
Please visit Science Arena and sign up for our newsletter (we have an English version). We are also on X (formerly Twitter):
I believe that communication can contribute to the scientific debate by promoting interactions between those involved in the science and technology system, mediating the flow of information and fostering the dissemination of ideas
Best regards,
Bruno de Pierro, MA.
