Are university alumni associations active in Nigeria?
My impression is that graduates of Nigerian universities have been moving all over Africa and across the world. This is partly to do with the fact that some Nigerian universities attract students from all over Africa, and international students naturally tend to be mobile in their later work.
Are university alumni associations active in Nigeria? In theory, they can play a big role in helping Nigerian students and researchers keep contact with each other, inside Nigeria and beyond.
It would be great if alumni associations could support our Research Cooperative, and enourage members to join if they have become involved in research and research communication, in any way. In suggestions about this by members who have contact with their own alumni associations would be welcome (please reply to this message).
Thanks, P.
