Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) (and welcome to new members!)

When I searched the DOAJ directory with the keyword, China, 39 journals were listed.

Most but not all are published in China, and most report results from medical or biological science.

I am sure that a much larger number of journals published in China are accessible only in Chinese, on websites based in China.

The DOAJ is an international directory, and not all online journals are looking for international audiences.

I hope our network can eventually be useful for Chinese researchers and publishers, regardless of whether or not their target audiences are local or international.

We need many kinds of journals, to represent the full diversity scientific research and to reach many different kinds of audience.

Finally - a welcome to all new members to this group.
