@chief-admin

This story from the Ghana News Agency is encouraging (Accra, 23rd June 2014):

Information Minister asks citizenry to build capacity in social media

Building such capacity may be good for economic development eventually, but to be effective, social media need good writers, a wide range of topics, good sources of information, and open discussion.

Universities, university staff and graduates have a responsibility to raise issues, investigate them, and discuss them, not just in their research publications, but also in contact with society generally, including through social media.

I hope the Research Cooperative can help in this process. This will depend on our members in Ghana using the website, and expanding the network through their own contacts in Ghana.

Does anyone here know the Minister of Information and Media Relations?! It's just a thought...
