How we detect spam and remove spammers

A range of methods
Our first guard against spam is to be selective about who can join or remain in the network.
If spam is detected, the offending member is presumed to be a robot that will not be offended, and is immediately deleted.
If you have been mistaken for a robot by our network, and have been deleted, please let us know!
We also use the Askimet spam detection service, which has a good track record for dealing with comment spam.
