Schwarzschild's 1916 first exact solution to Einstein's GTR eqations excludes black holes by the requirement, that a singularity of the metrics be at most at a singularity of its origin, the gravitating mass, ie, at the origin.
Who can provide me with convincing arguments against that reasoning? Thank you!

What exactly is the relationship between space-time and matter?
Is there time and space without matter?
It has been said, that Einstein himself has both ones closely related each to another: no matter -> no space-time. (Indeed: for what space and teime are good for, when there is no matter at all?). His equations, however, allow for the existence of a space-time (Minkowski's one) even in case of absence of matter.
What do you think?
Thank you!
