I can add ceramics as a topic under research communication - to make a place where publications related to ceramics are introduced discussed. Would that be useful, eventually? It will depend on how many people eventually join who are also interested in the subject. Across many arts and sciences, ceramics are important in many ways. The Kyocera company here in Kyoto, Japan, started out as a local city ceramics company and is now involved in all kinds of high-tech industry.
