Asian Ethnology

By Research Cooperative, 2008-08-01

Last month I received a gift copy of the first issue of Asian Ethnology , a journal that was previously named Asian Folklore Studies. . The journal editors have asked me to inform colleagues about the journal.

Some members of the Research Cooperative might also like to look at this newly-named journal.

See the journal website here

Asian Ethnology publishes formal essays and analyses, research reports, and critical book reviews relating to a wide range of topical categories related to ethnology, local ecological and envrionmental knowledge, cultural representation, and so on.

New support group for an online journal

By Research Cooperative, 2008-07-09

Today I created a support group for an online journal called Ethnobotany Research and Applications ( see the group here ).

If you are the owner, editor or manager of a journal, and would like to create a similar support group inside the Research Cooperative, please let me know.

Support groups can be created here for online journals and also for print-only journals.
