Who has experience of using the Publons peer review platform?

Publons ( https://publons.com/home/ ) allows people who review articles for journals to  import, verify, and store a record of every peer review perform or every manuscript handled as a journal editor, for any journal in the world.

The idea is to create verified records of the largely volunteer efforts made by journal editors and the reviewers that support journals, so that our efforts can be formally recognised by employers (and publishers).

There may be many researchers and content editors in our network who have also been reviewers or managing editors for journals. If anyone here has experience of using Publons, it would be good for others to know if it has been helpful or not.
