Hi,Very happy to be a new member here and looking forward to meeting the rest of you as time goes on.I would like to offer the following (paid) services:* Assisting researchers on a one-to-one basis with the writing and editing of proposals, papers, and reports aimed at a range of audiences, from specialists to the general public.* English language editing of papers, reports and promotional materials (this service is most often used by speakers of other language who need to write in English).* Writing press releases based on research/research papers.I am a journalist by training, with many years of experience as a writer and editor in the field of research, both as a freelancer and in full-time positions.Current position: Editor, Community Eye Health Journal (www.cehjournal.org)Previous position: Science Writer/Editor, Medical Research Council of South Africa (www.mrc.ac.za)I normally charge 35 an hour.
