Dear Hammami,
My own research is on taro (qolqas, Colocasia) which may grow in some parts of Tunisia. In Egypt it grows alongside the Nile, but in Cyprus, many farmers are now using trickle irrigation from pipe wells. It is a crop that can produce good yields and use water and nutrients effectively, when irrigation is done carefully. Have you seen it in Tunisia?
